Receiving Yeshua the Messiah as your personal saviour is the greatest and wisest decision you have ever made. You'll realize this as you see the result of that decision.
1. LET US REVIEW THE GOSPEL:
a. The Gospel is God's Power to save
ROM 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes
b. We are SINNERS, we can't save ourselves ROM 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
c. The penalty for sin is DEATH ROM 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
the Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
d. But God loves us, gave His SON TO DIE for us ROM 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, the Messiah died for us.
e. So NOW, salvation is a FREE gift ROM 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
the Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
2.WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
a. Yeshua has become your saviour 1TI 1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: the Messiah Yeshua came into the world to save sinners----of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shQwn mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, the Messiah Yeshua might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
b. He has TAKEN AWAY all your sins HEB 10:17
Then יהוה YEHOVA adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."
c. You are now SAVED! EPH 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.
d. You have become a CHILD of God ROM 8:15,16
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit ofsonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
e. You are a BRAND NEW CREATION 2CO 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in the Messiah, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
f. Yeshua begins to show you His Kingdom! JOHN 3:3
In reply Yeshua declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.
g. You are born-again; you have new life in the Messiah. EPH 2:1-5
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with the Messiah even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.
l Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in the Messiah, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
3.WHERE YOU BELONG NOW:
a.Not anymore in Satan's kingdom of darkness 1PE 2:9
For you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
b. Not anymore of the world, but to God JOB15:18-10
We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one ca nnot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true even in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. He is the true God and eternal life.
c. Therefore, the Devil is never your friend lPE 5:8
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
d. Stay in submission to God to resist the Devil JAM 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
e. Yeshua in you is greater than the devil 1JO 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
f. Believers are prepared for trials & tribulations ACT 14:22
Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
1Pet 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
CHALLENGE:
Be ready and do not be surprised if you will meet persecution and opposition. The devil is alerted that you don't anymore belong to his kingdom. But be of good courage, you are now God's Child and He will protect you. Thank God for the free gift of salvation, for forgiveness of sin, and for the new life.
